Morgan appeared alongside other actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention and awareness. Some of the proceeds went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is also on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the chief fundraiser for other projects and also gave testimony at a special Congressional panel discussing AIDS awareness. Morgan is on the board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar. C. Everett Koop asked her to at times take his spot in AIDS activities. And she co-hosted the AIDS Awareness Special alongside anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her two times about AIDS during Nightline. Morgan has won the Emmy Award in Diane English's exclusive Murphy Brown episode that was written just for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife along with Joan Rivers. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams were also on the show. The next part of her project took Morgan to Luxembourg and she was a part of the cast in the roles of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also on the set. Morgan played the lead in a psychological thriller that was produced exclusively by the USA Network. It received one of the highest ratings ever recorded by the network.
